SUBTEXT returns to The Archive @ Novel on Saturday, January 31 for iteration 006, featuring cybergiga, kttnmttns, and special guest Won Pound.
This marks the first time SUBTEXT teams up with beat wizard and sound maestro Won Pound, whose approach to off-kilter club music aligns naturally with the series’ focus on texture, pressure, and flow.
Both kttnmttns and Won Pound recently delivered standout sets at Moonshake’s New Year’s Eve event at SPACE Gallery, setting the tone for a night tuned to atmosphere, dynamics, and eclecticism rather than static genre lines.
Cybergiga will provide a hybrid DJ set alongside live, audioreactive visuals, morphing the room through sound and image in tandem.
Ambient tension, physical resonance, and a dancefloor sculpted by feel. Hypnotic techno, bass-driven hybrids, and club forms that defy categorization.
Music that unfolds gradually, shaped by the room and the feedback loop between sound system and body.
